Dr. Melody Ivory combines the eye of an artist, heart of a poet and discipline of a scientist to help mid-career women follow their calling. She has worked as a computer scientist, performance poet, college professor and author of six books. She’s currently preparing a 40-poem performance and fundraiser for November 20, 2010 to offer poetry healing workshops to women survivors of violence at the YWCA and other organizations in Seattle.
