About

Our “A” Team, including Our FAVE Service Providers

  • Chief Connecting Officer, Kelly McConnell.  I am from New Zealand, fondly known as a kiwi. I’ve traveled to a number of countries and loved learning about their culture. I was born with a deformed hip and though I was “disabled” I raced around doing whatever I could! In September 2009, I had my entire hip replaced and had a brush with death while under anesthesia.  I love life even more now! My son and I recently learnt how to ride a bike together and I’ve lost 30 pounds! I love summer the most, and gardening is my favorite hobby. I can cook like Rachel Ray and Cat Cora combined. Recipe books are my most favorite reading material. I’m involved in The Passions and Possibilities Project because I enjoy the inspirations that many of the Passioneers introduce me to. There are so many things that I never thought possible that I’m doing now!

Sue Oliver, Chief Passioneer

As the founder of PowerLeaps LLC and the Passions and Possibilities Network®, what a blessing it is to be able to share 15+ years of experience coaching and consulting individuals and groups into greatness, within the corporate, small business, and non-profit sectors.   I also bring a burning passion to support bold, talented individuals in leaping fully and vibrantly into their dreams for making big differences in the world (aka Passioneers®).  It’s my way to “pay it forward.”   With The Passions and Possibilities Network over the past 18 months, I’ve been interviewing hundreds of Passioneers in order to inspire others who are feeling scared or discouraged about their own leap.  I am sharing these stories on my weekly radio show, our popular Passions and Possibilities blog/website, and soon, in our upcoming book and videos.  Check out my  biography:  Coaching Bio.

My specialties include success coaching, entrepreneur and small business growth, leadership, team-building, new product & service launches, prosperity/finances, and wellness/balance.  Collaboration with top experts in areas such as wealth management, marketing/branding, image consulting, graphic & web design, and wellness coaching, represents full-spectrum business coaching and consulting services.  If you seek an engaging, energetic, and inspiring speaker, I am available for presentations to small and large groups, particularly keynote addresses, on a variety of topics.    Check out the speaker’s bio for more information.

I currently serve on the Marketing Committee and lead the Business Development & Marketing Special Interest Group for the International Coach Federation (ICF), and am a contributor to three fabulous non-profit organizations that support others in creating successful lives: Washington CASH, Washington Women’s Employment & Education (WWEE), for individuals seeking full-time employment, and The Taproot Foundation for those who want to share pro bono services.

My Passion-ography(sm)

Throughout my life, I’ve been called to catalyze passions and possibilities in myself and others.  That is, to support folks to stop playing small and to start living very large and very vibrantly.   Two years ago, I leaped fully into my calling as a coach and consultant.  Previously,  I settled for more lucrative, “secure” positions in corporate America, with fancy titles and fat paychecks.  I did leave the corporate life in the ’90s to become a partner of a small high-tech startup in Tucson, AZ, and later in 2003 when I founded an interfaith church in Olympia, WA.   Although I loved ministry, I really wanted to inspire individuals beyond a church setting.  So I returned to corporate America to work for a national bank, feeling challenged, but belated and dispassionate…hoping for some sign regarding my next leap.   After the company went bankrupt, I finally realized that the security that I was seeking is really within me and not a j.o.b.  I also grasped fully the importance of balanced, healthy living.

After completing extensive professional training and hundreds of coaching hours, I founded Life Sparks Coaching (sm) in 2008 and PowerLeaps LLC (sm) in 2009.  My intention?  To support bold talented individuals in leaping fully and vibrantly into their dreams for making the world a better place.  I call them Passioneers (sm), and now I get to fulfill my dream of prospering at what I love – coaching others to thrive in their passions.  My background and experience allow me to understand my clients’ fears in making this big shift.  My empathic, caring nature makes me a powerful coaching mentor.  I also can share solid business skills and experience, including an MBA, with clients who want to create and grow new ventures.

In early 2009, we launched The Passions and Possibilities Project®, where we are profiling individuals who have leaped fully into their dreams, aka Passioneers (sm) to inspire others who are feeling scared or discouraged about their own leap.  We  feature these Passioneer stories on our weekly Blog Talk Radio Show (www.blogtalkradio.com/passionsandpossibilities) and in our upcoming books and blog.    We also contribute 10% of PowerLeaps LLC’s revenues to special philanthropic cause, of our client’s choice.
