Passioneer™ Leigh Shambo, April’s Passioneer of the Month

Her psychotherapy practice and educational workshops incorporate horses to guide clients in search of self-awareness and better relationship skills. Leigh’s practice attracts clients interested in personal growth, psychological, spiritual and energy work.
 
In 2000 Leigh founded Human-Equine Alliances for Learning (HEAL), a non-profit organization that supports clients in recovering from psychological trauma and other mental health and behavioral disorders. “The most meaningful work for horses today is to guide us in a new language of connection – to nature, ourselves and each other,” says Leigh. “The horses are responsive to each person’s flow of consciousness…A horse can function as bio feedback for the soul.” http://www.humanequinealliance.org.
