Push the Button, Change the World: The 2012 Social Impact Award

I just discovered a social venture pitch among young adults from the Austrian, Czech, and Romanian regions:  Social Impact Award.   According to the website, the Social Impact Award “invites students from Austria, the Czech Republic and Romania to develop their own ideas for projects that solve societal problems through entrepreneurial, creative solutions.  The Award is organized by the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation of the Vienna University of Economics and Business, in cooperation with Ropot and the Hub Prague. What we offer to our participants: professional know-how, space for exchanging ideas, feedback and prizes that help young entrepreneurs to start their social project.”

It’s so encouraging to see social innovators in other countries, and really gives me hope for the future of our planet.  One of the teams I voted for is Soul Bottles, shown below.  I loved their approach to recycling used bottles. Check it out!

Thanks you guys, and Happy Passioneering!
